The Twin Towers at night

We only had a very short time to explore Malaysia, but I must admit, we did it quite well! Straight from the airport we headed to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 's largest and most populated city. We were blown away! Michael and I didn't expect it to be as developed as it is. There is tons of great shopping from outdoor street markets to high class malls. In fact, we have never been to a mall as large and as nice as the one at the KLCC Twin Towers (the tallest high-rise buildings inthe world). We loved all the food and restaurants. There was a mix of all types of Asian delicacies. The people are wonderful as well. Everyone is so genuinely friendly and inquisitive.

Kuala Lumpur has amazing electronics. Every other article in the local newspaper mentions some type of technology. Michael and I had a field day the many computer shops which sell software programs for only $2.00!!! Since there are no copy-write rules here, the computer stores copy whatever
software you want onto a blank CD and sell them for very cheap. We will be back in Malaysia for one day before we leave for Mauritius, so if anyone wants any specific software programs, we are now taking orders!

We know that there is still so much more here to see, but unfortunately we were limited on time. We really wanted to find the island that our favorite show "Survivor" was filmed at. I guess that we will someday have to come back!
